Barrelheads Take It To Boston
D.O.B. 11 - 27 - 2005 Brindle Male
Moose went though puppy obedience and he truly enjoyed going to his weekly training. Don and I both worked him, our thoughts were to make him a therapy dog since neutered dogs cannot be shown. We intend to take him and share him with the elderly in nursing homes. His unique personality and gentle nature with people and other dogs is incredible. He draws a crowd whenever we take him to the park, to a pet store or even his training classes. Moose has never even thought about being aggressive when meeting people in public. He is the epitome of a true gentle giant.
Moose was the second puppy we purchased. We wanted another dog to be a companion to Diva as our Boxer was getting very old and fragile. We didn't want a 60 pound Mastiff puppy chewing and sitting on our beloved 16 year old dog. We intended for our new dog to be a neutered pet and I found a litter 3 hours away from my home. Our baby had a huge umbilical cord hernia and we purchased him knowing this would have to be fixed. On his very first visit to our vet, it was decided to do the surgery immediately. Poor Moose, his intestines would fall though this hole as he stood on all fours making his hernia the size of a grapefruit when standing! Put him on his back and everything would fall back into this hole. Needless to say he was neutered and had his stomach fixed all at 8 weeks old on his first vet's visit. Moose is a ham! Such a personality, we adore him.

Moose is a very pretty marked fawn brindle. He's marked like a tiger and has the walk of a cheetah. He stands 34 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. Moose is also a certified service dog, for me. He will bring me the telephone, bring in mail, newspapers, anything I drop Moose is there to pick up and give me.
He helps me with walking and keeping me stabilized, he also helps me when I cant get up out of my chair or climb the stairs. He makes my life alot easier.. I love you Moose-Man.
